Meaning
Oh Lord Ramapate (consort of Rama!).  I supplicate before you with folded hands and solicit your compassion.
Oh Ananta (the infinite!)  Your lotus feet, the cause for the immortal bliss are the only refuge for me.  Kindly do not cast me away from any unbearable situations.
Oh, Varijaksha!  It is said that people are destined to live for a hundred years.  Alas! Half of it is spent in sleep and the rest in caring for wife, children and acquiring wealth and home.  Oh, Sri Hari!  that too to be devoted to you is rarer.  Even if that is attainable, the rarest is, not to indulge in lowly activities and to discriminate between good and bad.
Oh, Lord!  You recline on the king of the serpent, let your lotus feet be in my heart forever.  Oh Lord, majestic as the ocean!  Sauri!  Let me unite with you oh Sri Padmanabha!  You are revered by Brahma, celestials, and others.
