Meaning

Oh, Lord Narasimha!  Please protect me always.
You are the ocean of heroism, being worshiped by Siva, Brahma, and Indra.  You annihilate the demons with lightning speed and you are the friend of the dejected ones.
You are the Hiranyakasipu what the fire is to the forest.  You are the source of all knowledge, your glory is infinite.  You are the sacred one, you are the refuge to all sages like Sanka and others.  You possess a ferocious form that creates fear in the hearts of enemies.  Your eyes resemble the lotus petal.
You vanquished a host of demons with your out-flowing mane.  You are the beloved of devotees and the lord of the word.  With great humility and ardent passion, Prahlada worships your feet.  Your glory is sung by Vedas. Oh, eternal one!
Your sport sharp weapons in your hands. You disperse the sins of your devotees just as the wind disperses the clouds.  You personify compassion.  You save Gajendra.  Oh, Pankajanabha!  You shine gloriously with supreme auspiciousness.
